The Kansas City Heart Foundation participates in studies ranging from device studies (pacemakers, defibrillators, etc.), to testing the effectiveness of a new medicine, to looking at health trends in certain groups. It is the wish of the KCHF to offer patients a variety of studies in which to participate. These studies are performed in close partnership with Carondelet Heart Institute and Kansas City Cardiology Associates, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The KCHF doctors who participate in these studies represent several different cardiac specialties:

• Electrophysiology
• Vascular & Interventional Cardiology
• Congestive Heart Failure
• Nuclear Cardiology
• Primary & Secondary Risk Reduction
